About Mark:

Mark Wilkinson is Head of Space Planning for Pets at Home Ltd, the UKs largest specialist pet retailer and is responsible for the analysis of performance and the allocation of space to product categories and service propositions, such as Veterinary Surgeries and Dog Grooming Salons within their 400+ stores. Mark is also responsible for the Store Format team who develop the design aspects of the store layout to work alongside the merchandise space.

Mark began in retail within the Home Improvement sector whilst in high school and went on to hold management roles in operations, logistics, merchandising and space planning over 22 years in that sector before moving to Pets at Home in 2007. Mark graduated from Manchester University before going on to complete an MBA with the Open University in 2000. Mark lives in Manchester, UK with his family and in his spare time enjoys hill walking and amateur basketball in which he was an administrator for many years.
